ABSTRACTS
The study is solely undertaken on Bank of Agriculture Lokoja Plc. The purpose was to find out the role in impact of the existence of Bank of Agriculture on Agricultural growth and development in Nigeria. The researcher used questionnaire and interview method of inquiry to find out the respondent major problems while giving loans and retrieval from farmers for agricultural production. It was discovered that individual customers, various unions and societies, and cooperate customers are the major beneficiaries of agricultural loans. The finding also identified the procedure and loasic requirement for granting of Agricultural loan. Also some of these farmers received the loan and invest in another business sectors. In the light of the problems identified by the study, recommendations were made which could help staffs and farmers even governments overcome most of these problems.
