Abstract
This research work examines thee effect of social interaction between management staff and subordinates on the productivity of an organization using Obajana Cement Company as a case study. Data for the study were sourced from both primary and secondary methods. with a population of two hundred and twenty (220) people, a sample size of thirty were selected. This was arrived at using the simple random sampling techniques. The data collected were computated in a tabular form and analyzed by use of chi-square and percentage for clarification and easy understanding, findings from the analysis revealed that workers participation is an expression of industrial democracy which is more reasonable toward the realization of organizational goals and objectives coupled with the enhancement of individual harmony.
