Abstract

The aim of this study is to know the importance of accounting information system on the quality of management decision in tertiary institution in Nigeria, with a specific case study of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Kogi State. Chapter one of this project deals with the introduction, it focus on the background of the study, statement of the problem, purpose of the study, research questions, significance of the study and definitions of terms. Chapter two deals with literature review, conceptual framework, characteristics of good accounting information an value and uses of information. Chapter three focuses on the hypothesis and methods used in collecting data. Chapter four: deals with processing and the analysis of data collected. It analyses and reveals the result of the hypothesis. Chapter five deals with the summary of the findings, conclusion ad recommendation on the research work carried out.
